A light-hearted, sardonic organ piece written using tonal procedures and with several recurring motifs, but not centring around any one key

Composed for a short recital in Harringworth church, which preceded a talk by the dedicatee, Julian O'Neill, on painting: 'The Smile – a Revolution in Western Art'.
