7 - 31 October 2019Richard examined for LCM at Pallazzo de la Salle, the Malta Society of Arts in Valletta, Malta. on 22 October he presented Diplomas to the successful 2018 candidates at the Graduation Ceremony in the Concert Hall. On 12 October Richard performed on the organ of St Paul's pro-cathedral; works included his Intrada, March in D and March in F, Op 28/1-3.

14 - 15 September 2019: 17 of Richard's shorter works were recorded for a CD at The Wathen Hall, St Paul's School, Barnes, London. Project manager & Producer was Ates Orga and the Recording Engineer was Dave Rowell. Performers included Dr Emilie Capulet and Prof Francis Pott (pianos), Dr Rachel Smith (flute), Hollie-Anne Bangham (mezzo-soprano), Claire Lees (soprano), Olivia Watts and Elizabeth Trigg (bassoons). The largest works recorded were the Wind Quintet, Op 44; the Bassoon Sonata, Op 36; Moments, Op 3a; Counting the Beats, Op 8.  The CD will be released in 2020.

12 June - 5 July 2019: Richard examined for LCM in Ecole Ruban Vert, Libreville, Gabon;  Edinburgh and Gretna, Scotland;  and UWL, London.

31 March - 3 April 2019: Richard was an online adjudicator for the fifth International Young Talent Competition, Istanbul, Turkey. This is a music competition to promote and support music education for non-conservatory students.

25 March - 10 April 2019: Richard examined for LCM and trained an examiner in Birmingham, Lincoln, Nottingham and RAF (Northolt).

18 March 2019:     National Trust Lecture Evening, Brighton & Hove Association. Withdean Sports Centre, Brighton, UK.  Rachel Smith (alto flute) played Nocturno em Carcavalos, Op 25a

24 November - 14 December 2018: Richard examined, moderated and trained examiners for LCM at Chetham's School, Manchester; the Albemarle Centre, Hull;  Teesside High School, Eaglescliffe; the Sage Centre, Gateshead; and the University of West London, Ealing.

17 April - 13 May 2018: Richard examined for LCM at Blackburn School of Music; Merchant Taylors' Boys' School, Crosby, Liverpool; Cumnor House School, Purley; at Create Studios, Leicester and in Birkdale, Lancs.

6 - 24 March 2018: Richard examined for LCM at Oakham School,  Hersham, The Royal Russell School and Terenure College in Dublin.

24 January - 4 February 2018: Richard examined for LCM at IAID, the International Academy for Intercultural Development in Doha, Qatar.

4 - 9 December 2017: Richard examined for LCM at three centres in Cairo, including the Maadi British International School.

26 - 28 November 2017:  Richard examined for LCM at the Faculty of Music, University of Oxford and at Crackley Hall School, Kenilworth UK.

30 July to 30 August 2017: Richard examined for LCM in 19 centres in Singapore and 1 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. He also gave an LCM workshop to piano teachers in JB Music Centre on 30 August.

24 June 2017: Barrowden Church, Rutland UK. 7pm 'Music for a Summer's Evening': Richard organised this concert (with the sponsorship of Lady Alison and Sir Kevin Tebbit) and performed with Claire O'Brien (soprano) and Rachel Smith (flute/alto flute) in a programme which included the premiere of Echo, the fourth movement of ...too bitter sweet (Op.27), Abigail's Jig for flute and piano (Op.10 No.2a) and the quiet evening hours (Op.27 No.2c).

15 June to 9 July 2017: Richard examined for LCM in Limerick, Tullamore (Offaly), Hull, Grimsby, London, Bolton and Peterborough.

19 May 2017: Richard gave a short organ recital in Harringworth Church, Northants UK at 7pm, as prelude to a lecture by Julian O'Neill: The Smile - a Revolution in Western Art. The music linked with the theme of the talk and included a performance of March in F, Op

14 April 2017: St Paul's Anglican Pro-cathedral, Valletta, Malta. Hugo Agius Muscat, as the dedicatee, gave the official premiere of Paraphrase on 'Rockingham' for organ (Op.57 No.2)

26 March 2017: Beverley Minster, Yorks, UK. 10.30am. In advance of the official premiere by Hugo Agius Muscat next month, Ian Seddon performed Paraphrase on 'Rockingham' for organ (Op.57 No.2). Richard attended this service.

23 March to 1 April 2017: Richard examined for LCM in Wigan, Rotherham, Leven and Sheffield.

6 February 2017: Richard visited St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Newport Beach near Los Angeles, CA., and worked with Dr Jung-A Lee on Toccata for organ 'Gloria, laus et honor' (Op.57 No.1). in advance of the premiere on the 19th February - see Gallery photos).

30 November to 22 December 2016: Richard examined for LCM in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau and Hong Kong.

4 November 2016: Richard accompanied Edmund Dry (violin) in works for violin and piano by Mozart, Bridge, Shostakovich etc, They also performed ...and glorious grows the vine (Op.8b),and Abigail's Jig for violin and piano (Op.10 No.2g) received its first performance. 8 June to 4 July 2016: Richard examined for LCM in Scotland (Perth, Aberdeen and Inverurie), Turkey (Ankara) and Greece (Athens, Levadia, Karditsa and Thessaloniki)

3 to 5 June 2016: Richard was an adjudicator for the second International Young Talent Competition in Istanbul, Turkey. (see 2015 details below)

18 March to 16 April 2016: Richard examined for LCM at Trent College, Long Eaton; Keble School, London; UWL Ealing, London; James Allen's Saturday School for the Performing Arts, Dulwich, London; Harpenden Musicale; King's School, Ely, UK; Windstruments, Bingley, Yorks; centres in Swindon and Oxford UK.

22 to 29 January 2016: Richard examined for LCM at Hockerill College, Bishop's Stortford, Herts UK. and The Minster School, Southwell, Notts, UK.

15 October 2015: Richard was a guest speaker, and presented diplomas at the Graduation Ceremony of the London College of Music at the Malta Society of Arts, Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta. He examined at the Centre from 12 - 31 October.

22 to 24 May 2015: Richard was a jury member for the International Young Talent Competition, at Akatlar Cultural Centre, Istanbul, Turkey. This is a piano competition for ages 5-13 to promote and support music education for non-conservatory music students. Created by Dr. Benal Tanrisever at BT Muzik, it was organized with support from Istanbul Cultural Arts Foundation and from the European Union of Music Competitions for Youth.
